DMCA & Takedown Policy

KudoClip, Inc. respects intellectual property rights and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement per the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).

Reporting infringement

To report content on KudoClip that you believe infringes your copyright, email abuse@kudoclip.com with the following information. Notices missing any of these may be ignored.

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. The URL on KudoClip where the allegedly infringing material appears (e.g., https://kudoclip.com/v/<upload-id>).
  4. Your full contact information (name, postal address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

What happens next

On receiving a valid notice, we'll typically:

  • Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
  • Remove or disable access to the reported content while we investigate.
  • Notify the customer who owns the campaign that hosted the content, with a copy of the notice (minus your contact details if requested).
  • Terminate access for repeat infringers per our acceptable-use policy.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you can submit a counter-notification per Section 512(g) of the DMCA. Email abuse@kudoclip.com with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, address, phone, and email, with consent to jurisdiction in U.S. federal courts in Delaware and to accept service of process from the original complainant.

Non-copyright abuse

For non-copyright concerns (privacy violation, harassment, content depicting a minor, illegal content, biometric-data complaints), email abuse@kudoclip.com with the URL and a brief description. We treat these with at least the same urgency as DMCA notices.

Designated agent

Our designated DMCA agent receives notices at abuse@kudoclip.com. For matters requiring formal service, contact legal@kudoclip.com first to arrange.
